Blog Post 02/20

This video depicts a person named Masa walking around Japan and talking with others. I really like these kinds of videos because it's very relevant to my learning.

The true purpose of learning Japanese in the College of Arts and Letters is to use it in real life.

When the narrator uses 何か, I can understand what she means by that. This is another dimension to my leaning, and I enjoy supplementing these youtube videos with Japanese.

Blog Post 02/13

I've been watching this YouTube channel for a while, and I like this kind of video because it shows how Japanese can be used in real-life scenarios. I enjoy how the narrator buys items and interacts.

It also shows another dimension of Japanese culture that can't be found in a book.

Since we've been covering buying items in Chapter 8 when the narrator purchases items, it is very eye-opening and a great supplement to my learning.

Blog Post 02/06

This video describes a person checking out at a grocery store. The narrator describes how it is to go about daily Japanese life in front of the counter.

Using money values and basic location nouns, this video is very helpful and very insightful!

I definitely find a lot of helpful insight from the video. The way the narrator interacts with people is very natural and it is something that I hope to get to at one point.
