Blog Post 10/31

This was my first time reading a Japanese news article, which was very interesting. I couldn't understand every single aspect of the article, but I collected essential info and got the general 'gist' of the text.

I did, I was able to understand adjectives within the article through ふせ先生's teaching.

Also, even though I don't know every single word and phrase in the writing, but I was able to grab the general gist of it all.

Blog Post 10/24

I was really impressed with the video and I have been watching these every week in order to improve my Japanese.

It is a man who walks around Japan and speaks in Japanese, and does basic tasks. I like how he speaks slowly, and I am able to grasp some of the things he says.

I have. I feel like I am able to speak with a better flow of Japanese, and I can interpret sentences better. For example, I can understand when the narrator of the video uses adjectives such as きれい and はやい and many more. I feel like listening to these videos makes me more adept at Japanese, and it is certainly something I'll continue.

Blog 10/9

This video is a great way to learn Japanese because it is about a man who walks around Japan and he is speaking Japanese in a real-life situation.

I am able to view how it is to be living in Japan and which aspects of daily life he uses the most. The entire video is about 30 minutes long, and I enjoy seeing the narrator's way of teaching 日本語。

Yes, I am starting to see location nouns being used a lot, especially when purchasing items. When he is buying items, he is using これ・それ・あれ・この・その・あの a reasonable amount which is something that I will focus a lot on.

10/3 Blog

This week, were going to take a look at a news article in Japanese called “Nike anti-racism video goes viral, sparking controversy in Japan”
This article is in にほんご。

The article is about Naomi Osaka’s recent anti racism video. And it is very interesting because many people are approaching the video in different ways. However, I truly enjoy reading the Japanese article simply for the content. It’s awesome!
